Our Story

Leading isn't about perfection, it's about finding someone you can trust. There's something special about leaders who exemplify this characteristic. If you've known the Hoyt's, you know that they are personal, transparent, honest and not afraid to share life with others. By opening the doors of their home, they cultivate relationships that allow for friends to see their humanity and how they experience the reality of life's struggles. This transparency causes you to trust and see that they are not perfect but devoted to God, committed to friendships and always inviting friends and strangers into their home. 
 

Cameron and Roberta have had a vision for quite some time to follow the God-given call on their hearts and start a ministry. In 2010, they sought out instruction and counsel to figure out how to best prepare them for the the promptings they were receiving. This caused them to start utilizing their talents to make them better by leading outreaches, teaching marriage classes, providing spiritual guidance, leading Bible studies, as well as, presenting the Word to larger audiences.

They have an enormous desire to see marriages healed, families strengthened, and people of all background find and walk out their lives in the light of Jesus. In His Light Ministries has been birthed from the idea that all of us can live better lives, lives of significance, when we walk in the endless and contagious light of Jesus and allow the light to shine through us to the people we meet and interact with.

With excitement, Cameron and Roberta and their sons, Anthony (LaBria), Gabriel, Caleb, Isaac, Elijah and Seth are stepping out to do what God put in their hearts many years ago. They're excited to share this journey with you!
